Biodiversity conservation: What is it and how can we make a difference now?

14 February 2022, 17:30 - 14 February 2022, 18:30

Biodiversity is discussed a lot – but what is it? How does climate change impact biodiversity? What can we do to conserve our biodiversity now and in the future? You are invited to hear Linda Bell share her thoughts on biodiversity and discuss a case study about threatened species conservation.

Linda Bell has a goal of conserving as many native plants and animals as possible and has recently left the NSW Government after spending 25 years in threatened species and private land conservation. Most recently Linda worked in partnership with scientists and practical experts to develop and deliver the Saving our Species program which aims to save NSW threatened species.

Linda’s presentation will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Sydney’s Climate Action Group. All are warmly invited to attend.
