Annual Consular Corps Luncheon – CANCELLED

 DUE TO OUR GUEST SPEAKER HAVING TO CANCEL, THE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Members of the Sydney Consular Corps will be special guests at Sydney Rotary Club’s Luncheon at the Castlereagh Hotel on Tuesday 11th May at 12:30pm.

The guest speaker will be Sharon Hudson-Dean, the US Consul General in Sydney who will discuss “American Policy Priorities 2021: Leadership and Cooperation to address Global Challenges.”

Sharon Hudson-Dean who is a career American diplomat was the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Nordic/Baltic Affairs in the European and Eurasian Affairs Bureau at the Department of State from 2017-18.  Prior to that, she served as Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. and Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Riga, Latvia for three years.  Ms. Hudson-Dean has also represented the United States in Georgia, Russia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Nepal, and Australia.

This will be a hybrid meeting.  Our Consular Corps members will be our guests for the luncheon.
