Climate Action Group
A new group who will be promoting action on Climate Change. “It’s the only home we have and it’s future is in our hands.” Stay tuned for our inaugural meeting which will appear in our Events section.
International Service
Our focus is on many International projects that span across Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Sudan, India and the Pacific Islands to name a few. We provide resources delivered through programs that matter and affect communities globally.
Peace Building Group
The Rotary Club of Sydney Peace Building Group is composed of a group of Rotarians committed to promoting peace. Our vision is a peaceful world, where peace is maintained at a local community, regional, national and international levels. The group sponsors an annual Community Peace Prize which is awarded to a local organisation or individual.
Vocational Service Activities
We support and sponsor the Police Officer of the Year Awards ceremony, the NSW State Police Award, Ethics Hypothetical program, Joan Salter Fund, Vocational evenings as well as the Vocational Service Award.
Youth Committee
Our motto is: Elevating Youth. We do this by sponsoring many leadership and personal development programs such as – Model United Nations(MUNA) , Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN), Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotaract, PCYC to name a few.
Community Service
We sponsor and administer a wide variety of local programs such as Rotary Soukup Indigenous Memorial Scholarships, ANZAC Day BBQ, MS Mega-Swim, Australian Citizenship Ceremony, Community Service Award and the Rotary Winter Appeal.
