During this prestigious event, we will express our heartfelt gratitude to outgoing President Charlie Allen for his dedicated service and outstanding leadership over the past year. Under Charlie's guidance, our club has reached new heights and made significant strides in our community service initiatives. Charlie will present a review of the outstanding achievements of the Club, members and supporters over the past year as well as recognising the contributions of members who have epitomised our ethos of putting service before self.
We are equally excited to welcome and induct Glenn Stafford as our incoming President for the 2024/2025 year. Glenn brings his passion, enthusiasm, and a clear vision for our future. During the event, Glenn and our wonderful team of Committee and Team Leads, all volunteers, will share their plans, hopes and dreams for the coming year, which include:
Community Engagement - enhancing our presence and impact within the Sydney community through collaborative projects and partnerships.
Youth Programs - expanding opportunities for young people through educational programs, scholarships, and leadership training.
Sustainability Initiatives - promoting and implementing environmentally sustainable practices in our club activities and projects.
Member Development - fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for personal and professional growth among our members.
Global Outreach - strengthening our international connections and contributing to Rotary's global humanitarian efforts.
This changeover event is not just a formality but a celebration of our club's resilience, commitment, and vision for a brighter future. We encourage all members, friends, and partners to attend and show their support for our outgoing and incoming Presidents, Board Members, Committee and Team Leads and, most importantly, for all of your fellow Rotarians.
As a number of our stalwart members are travelling over the school holidays we have allowed for out of town members and guests to join via Zoom so nobody needs to miss out! We encourage you to attend in person. Zoom attendance is free but please make a donation, you know it goes to worthwhile causes!
