So just how far can I swim in thirty minutes?
For over ten years, Sydney Rotary has proudly supported Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MSL) by holding the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Mega Swim Challenge held over a twenty four hour period on a May weekend at the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre at Homebush. Yes the 2000 Olympics pool, with various teams swimming for twenty hours straight.
Covid-19 has made many changes in how we conduct our lives.
Unfortunately, that has not changed the need for those with MS in requiring financial assistance to help the person live a fulfilled life, despite having MS limiting their capacity.

Even Sydney Rotary has changed, by implementing Hybrid Meetings, which we are love attending, either in person or over the internet.
MSL is holding an extra Mega Challenge on the weekend of Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 November 2021 in the format of 2021 My Mega Swim for MS.
The difference is that this swim is in the pool or ocean of the swimmer's choice plus distance of choice.
As a consequence, there is no Sydney Rotary BBQ, etc for this November event.

We all know that I currently live in Queanbeyan where there is an indoor 25 metre pool.
Covid-19 restrictions allow for a swimmer to swim for thirty minutes in their pool.

So just how far can I swim in thirty minutes?
I've thrown $150 into the kitty for the first three metres in freestyle mode.
